Subok Lang '24 - Manila

Good day Judges! Mana Underground is looking for a team of highly skilled judges to take on various judge/staff roles at SUBOK LANG, on May 26th, 2024. Please read staff expectations carefully as updates have been made to expectations at other large events. Acceptances will be made on Saturday (April 13th) at 12nn PH Time. 

Roles and Expectations

All Judges

If selected as a judge, you may be asked to assist in non-judge tasks at any time.

Judges are expected to be professional at all times and communicate through created channels

Judges will be provided with a staff shirt and will pair this with comfortable professional bottoms (black) and shoes (black). 

Judges are requested to remove or cover their judge shirt when off duty or on break.

If selected for a judging role, you may also be asked to do any of the following:

• Floor Judge Main Event
• Be the Head Judge for assigned Scheduled Events
• Assist Judge duties at Scheduled Events / On Demand Events
• Help maintain a clean play environment
• Facilitate the distribution of prizes
• Be engaged in the event you are staffed in as a Judge to provide the best player experience possible.

Staff

If selected for a staff role, you may also be asked to do any of the following:

• Facilitate onsite registration
• Provide event info/customer service to attendees
• Interact with vendors/artists
• Distribute prize support
• Assist with event logistical needs
• BOH Lead will transition to Scorekeeper for the main event once registration is completed.

Note: As you are not on staff for this event, some users may be hidden from the staff list, in accordance with their privacy settings. You can always see the full staff list if you are either part of the staff yourself, or otherwise, after the event is over.
