Grand Prix: Charlotte - Judge Conference

On behalf of Star City Games, in co-operation with Southeast Regional Coordinator Justin Turner, I am happy to announce the Grand Prix: Charlotte Judge Conference. This event will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013.

Judge Conferences are the occasion to meet new people and see old friends from all around the world, to learn and teach, to share your tips and spread knowledge. They are one of the best opportunities to get good practices and updated information passed amongst the judge community. During this conference, short seminars or workshops focused on one aspect of the judge program will be presented by volunteers.

The Judge Conference is open to everyone, regardless of Judge Level, or whether you are judging at the Grand Prix.  If you are interested in attending, please apply here so that we will have an accurate headcount.

SCHEDULING
The conference will be held in two shifts: from 10 AM to 3 PM, and from 5 PM to 10 PM. Each shift will feature four hour-long seminars, with a one-hour meal break inbetween.

FOIL SUPPORT
Our friends at Wizards of the Coast are supporting this conference by providing a selection of judge foils for our attendees. The number of foils given to each attendee will be based on the number of seminars attended.

In order to guarantee that you receive foils, please pre-register for the conference. Judges who register after Friday, February 1st cannot be guaranteed foils.
