EXPECTATIONS
Judges volunteering are expected to prepare for each event by reviewing the Comprehensive Rules, Magic Tournament Rules, Infraction Procedure Guide, and Judging at Regular REL documents, each of which can be found at the Magic Judges Document Center. Judges are also expected to behave in a professional manner at all times, as representatives of Pastimes, TCGPlayer.com, and the Magic Judge program. This includes arriving on time, and in appropriate attire.
Judges should arrive no later than 8:30 AM on Saturday and are expected to stay until the conclusion of the Swiss rounds. If you must arrive later than 8:30 or may have to leave before the conclusion of Swiss (to catch a ride, for instance), please note that in your application.
TESTING
Limited testing opportunities are available at this event. If you are interested in testing, please include this in your application, or contact jason.long@pastimes.net.
COMPENSATION
Certified judges volunteering will receive their choice of the following:
1 Booster Box of Gatecrash
$100 Pastimes Store Credit
Uncertified judges (Level 0) receive 1/2 box or $50 Pastimes Store Credit.
