Grand Prix Guadalajara 2013

Hola a todos, estamos felices de saber que deseas participar del evento “GP Guadalajara 2013”.

El evento principal será los dias sábado 25 y domingo 26 de Mayo del 2013. Un numero limitado de staff será elegido para ayudar en los “Last Chance Trials” el viernes 24 de Mayo.

Expectativas

Por favor, recuerda que ser parte de un GP es mucha diversión, pero también trabajo. Tendras la oportunidad de ver a viejos amigos y hacer nuevos, pero también tendras que tomar llamadas a juez, contestar preguntas sobre reglas, levantar basura, contar listas, acomodar sillas en su lugar, preparar producto, levantar basura, mover mesas, acomodar sillas (TODO EL TIEMPO), mover manteles de mesa, levantar basura, recoger manteles, acomodar sillas sillas, desvelarse, ayudar a los artistas, conseguir comida para el equipo, ayudar a montar y a desmontar y terminar el dia recogiendo más basura!

La solicitud de jueces cerrara el Viernes, 8 de Marzo. Anunciaremos a los seleccionados una semana después.

Beneficios para ti

Foils – Wizards of the Coast enviara una selección de cartas promocionales DCI para los jueces certificados que trabajen por lo menos dos días en el evento. Se darán también camisas a los jueces certificados que estén en el staff y no tengan aún.

Producto – Jueces recibirán una caja de producto por día de trabajo. Jueces L3+ recibirán 18 sobres adicionales por día de trabajo durante los dias sábado y domingo.

Comida – Proveeremos cupones de comida para un lugar cercano al evento en donde comer o demos una modesta cantidad para gastos de alimentación. Te recomendamos traer provisiones personales como galletas o botella de agua.

Patrocinio de cuarto – Se dará un número limitado de patrocinios de cuarto, si eres seleccionado se cubrirá tu hospedaje en Guadalajara por 3 noches, por favor indica si necesitaras menos noches en tu carta. Te acomodaremos con por lo menos otro juez.

Conferencia de Jueces

Se realizara una conferencia de jueces el dia jueves 23. Se realizara en la tienda Avalon durante la mañana y tarde. No es necesario participar en el staff del GP para participar .

Hello everyone, we're happy to know that you would like to apply for GP Guadalajara 2013!

The main event will take place on May, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th 2013. A limited number of staff will be chosen to help on the Last Chance Trials on Friday 24th.

Expectations

Please remember that being part of a GP is a lot of fun but also a lot of work. You'll get the chance to see old friends and make new ones, but will also need to take judge calls, answer rules questions, pick up garbage,  count decklists, push-in chaird, prepare product, pick up some more garbage, move tables, push-in chairs again, arrange table-cloths, pick up garbage again, remove table-cloths, push some more chairs, sleep very few hours, help the artists, help getting food for the team, help assembling and disassembling the venue and end the day picking up yet more garbage!

The judge application will close on March 8th. We'll announce the selected judges about one one week later.

Benefits for you

Foils – Wizards of the Coast will provide promotional cards for the certified judges who work at least 2 days during the event. Judge shirts will be provided to those certified judges on staff which do not have them already.

Product - Judges will receive a box of product per day of work. L3+ judges will receive 18 additional packs per day worked during saturday and sunday.

Food - We'll provide coupons for a near-by  store or a stipend of cash to satisfy your eating needs. We recommend you to bring some personal supplies such as cookies and/or water.

Room sponsorship - A limited number of room sponsorships will be provided. If you're selected for it, your lodging in Guadalajara will be covered for 3 nights. Please indicate if you would need less nights in your cover letter. We'll accomodate you with at least one other judge.

Judge Conference

A judge conference will take place on Thursday 23th. It will take place on local store Avalon during the morning and afternoon. It's not necessary to be part of the GP staff to attend.
