NOTE: While the WMCQ is a one-day event, we will host a Pro Tour Qualifier on the following Sunday. If you are available to judge at the PTQ, please make that clear in your application.

TRAVEL
We do not provide travel or hotel sponsorship for floor judges at this event. However, we will provide information about any room blocks we arrange with nearby hotels.
EXPECTATIONS
Judges volunteering at these events are expected to prepare for each event by reviewing the Comprehensive Rules, Magic Tournament Rules, Infraction Procedure Guide, and Judging at Regular REL documents, each of which can be found at the Magic Judges Document Center. Judges are also expected to behave in a professional manner at all times, as representatives of Pastimes and the Magic Judge program. This includes arriving on time, and in appropriate attire.
Judges should arrive no later than 8:30 AM on days they are scheduled to judge and are expected to stay until the conclusion of the Swiss rounds. If you must arrive later than 8:30 or may have to leave before the conclusion of top 8 (to catch a ride, for instance), please note that in your application.
The dress code for judges at this event is a Black Magic Judges judge shirt (if you don't already own one, please note this in your application), black pants (dress pants are preferred), a belt, and comfortable shoes (both preferably black). Judges should not be in uniform while off-duty, including during breaks and while trading.
TESTING
Testing opportunities are available at this event. If you are interested in testing, please include this in your application, or contact jason.long@pastimes.net.
COMPENSATION
Certified judges will receive:
- $150 (mailed as a check after the event, pending completion of a Federal W9 tax form.)
- $200 in Pastimes store credit (usable either online or at the event.)
