Grand Prix Philadelphia

I'm happy to announce that Professional Event Services is soliciting staff for Grand Prix Philadelphia 2012! Grand Prix Philadelphia will be held October 27 – October 28 with Last Chance Grand Prix Trials and Public Events opening on Friday, October 26, 2012. The format is Return to Ravnica Sealed deck, so you know we will be having a lot of fun (and hopefully players!). The Head Judge is Christopher Richter.

Staff Needs:

We are looking for judges for Friday – Sunday. We will need judges for events starting at noon on Friday and 8:00 AM Saturday and Sunday. We expect Sunday to end around 10:00 PM.

Compensation:

Judges at this event will be provided the following accommodations and gifts:

- Hotel lodging on an as-needed basis.  Hotel rooms for those receiving sponsorship will be provided for on Friday and Saturday night. There will be some rooms available for a select few to stay late on Sunday night. Please be clear about what accommodations you'll require when sending in your application. Note that you have a greater chance of being selected if you don’t require accommodations.

- A selection of DCI foils for all certified judges who work the event.

- One box of Magic product per day worked.

Level 3+ Judges Needed!

If you are a Level 3+ judge that’s interested in volunteering, PES is looking for you! Level 3+ judges will receive 1.5 boxes of product a day.

How to request to volunteer:

In the body of the cover letter, please include the following information:

- Days you wish to volunteer

- Primary Phone Number

- If you will need a hotel room

- If you will need a hotel room on the Sunday night

- Any special requirements or concerns you have

The application period begins now and will end on 8/31/2012. This is a firm deadline and late applications will not be considered.
