Event Information

Third Swiss Judge Conference

Judge Conferences are the occasion to meet new people and see old friends from all around the world, to learn and teach, to share your tips and spread knowledge. They are one of the best opportunities to get good practices and updated information passed amongst the judge community. During this conference, shorts seminars or workshops focused on one aspect of the judge program will be presented by volunteers.

The Judge Conference is open to everyone, regardless of Judge Level, or whether you are judging at your store or internationally.  If you are interested in attending, please apply so we will have an accurate headcount.

TIME

The Third Swiss Judge Conference will be held from 10:30 am until about 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 7th.

The conference will begin with a meet and greet from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
Seminars will start at 10:30 am, and there will be a lunch break from 12:30 am to 1:30 pm.
There will be seminars geared toward all level or experience and interests. Exact schedule and content to be announced.

VENUE

The conference will take place in the Magic Shop in Bern. There is an underground parking right next to the shop and it's about 5 minute from the Bern main station

PRESENTING A SEMINAR

If you are interested in presenting a seminar please say so in your application and email me (jeremie.granat@gmail.com), if you are interested in presenting but need some ideas or a topic we can help you out.

Seminar could be focused on some skill or knowledge you got from your work or studies and you use during judging, on some knowledge or good practice you acquired about an aspect of the judge program, it could be the presentation of one of the projects you're working on, or even organizing a fun game to end the day with!

You don't need to be a world expert on the topic you plan to present, as long as you think you have something useful to share with the community.

Senior judges and candidates for leveling up in the judge program are expected to apply to present a seminar or workshop.
