Middle East 2016 Judge Conference

In cooperation with Battlezone and the Europe-East Regional Leadership, we are pleased to announce the Middle East 2016 Judge Conference.

Schedule

The conference will begin at 11:45am on Saturday 19th November, with the first seminar starting at noon. There will be a lunch break at 2pm. Finishing time will be around 7:30pm, followed by a group Judge Dinner at Pars Iranian restaurant.

12pm: Hidden Card Error, by Giorgos Trichopoulos
Our beloved Regional Coordinator explains the latest changes in policy regarding Hidden Card Error. 

1pm: Replacement effects, by Saagar Laxman
Saagar´s presentation will cover one of the most intrincate aspects of the Comprehensive Rules.

2pm: Lunch Break
We will be providing free lunch for everyone attending. 

3:30pm: Workshop - Random situation generator, by Masaru Koide
Interactive role-play type scenarios, designed for attending judges to improve on their customer service skills.

4:30pm: Growth and improvement for L1s, by Christian Gawrilowicz
Austria's most known globetrotter dives into what does it take to be an awesome Level 1, and how to make the most out of it.

5:30pm: Fun/educational game, by DLI
Team competition based on judging stuff, knowledge is advisable, fun is mandatory!

6:30pm: Q&A with the Regional Leadership, with Giorgos and DLI
Got questions about the Europe-East region or the Judge Program? We got your answers. 

Attendees

Certified judges in the Europe-East region are welcome to attend.

Judges from other regions may apply to attend; these applications will be accepted at the discretion of the Europe-East leadership.

Non-certified judges and organizers are welcome to attend, however they won't be eligible for foil support.

Foil Support

Wizards of the Coast and the Judge Program will provide certified judges at this conference with a selection of judge foils. The number of foils given to each attendee will be based on the number of seminars attended, and the completion of an exit survey. Only those registered for the conference and certified by October 19th will be eligible for foil support. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
