2016 SE Asia Judge Conference @ Malaysia

Hello all,

Welcome to the second SE Asia Judge Conference for 2016. This will be a three-day conference held on 9-11 December 2016.

For travel planning purposes, the estimated start time for Friday is 3pm, while the end time on Sunday will be 1pm.

There are several objectives to this conference, which are:

1. To meet and get to know other judges in our region (and sometimes judges from other regions too!)
2. To learn and share our knowledge with each other
3. To have fun!

After reviewing the feedback from the conference in Singapore, this conference will have a stronger focus on objectives 1 & 3, since that was something we missed out on in light of the packed schedule back then. So we're not going to be cramming as much content as far as seminars or presentations go, but we're gonna try and cram more fun in by having dedicated hours and space for that.

This time, there will be a fee of RM100 for the conference. What this gets you is 2 nights accommodation at YMCA, as well as lunch on Saturday. And of course, a weekend of learning and fun!

Applications for this conference close on 7-October 2016. This date is earlier than usual because of the need to confirm rooms at YMCA.

Please note that you must apply by the deadline and be accepted in order to be eligible for conference support a.k.a. Judge Foils. Also, only certified judges are eligible for conference support. Uncertified judges and people who did not apply by the deadline are still welcome to join, subject to space availability.
