This is a question regarding continuous effects during the resolution of a spell.
If a player casts
Chord of Calling with X=3, and puts a
Courser of Kruphix into play, the continuous effect from the Courser functions as soon as it enters the battlefield, which following the text on Chord, is before that player shuffles his or her library – so should a player reveal the top card of his library before shuffling it (but after searching)?
This seems problematic. Is there a rule governing this sort of interaction, or is there a provision stating instructions of searching and shuffling are understood to be simultaneous?
Thank you.
