In a team (3v3) tournament, if a team wins all the individual matches against an opponent is reported as 3-0?

In team tournaments, the tiebreakers that are used do not take into account the individual matches, only the final record of the relevant team(s). Additionally, in WER, if you are scorekeeping an event sanctioned as Team Trios, you'll only presented with three buttons anyways: 1-0, 0-0, and 0-1.

Functionally, it doesn't matter how you report these matches, as long as you report the winner as having won. As a guide, though, for any team event, you should report them using one of the three options above.

One of the things we stress (through announcements and wandering the floor) at GP Team Trios, is that once a team is ahead 2-0 in matches, the third match doesn't matter, and they should fill out the slip. They're welcome to play out the third match, but to keep the tournament moving, report a winner as soon as it's known.

Thanks everyone who responded. Judged my first team event yesterday and both replies helped greatly in making sure the tournament ran more smoothly than it would have.

GP San Antonio next year (2017) is Team Modern- is this the same? When running GPTs for this event should we use the same reasoning and methodologies?

All team events are currently run with this methodology.

Note that there will likely not be GPTs for GP San Antonio, as there are no byes currently awarded at team events.

Just saw that, interesting! For those curious, here: http://magic.wizards.com/en/content/grand-prix-event-types-events Under Byes->First Round Byes, at the end of the section right before it says “SUNDAY SUPER SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP”
