Competitive Scorekeeping with WER

There is a lot of great general scorekeeper advice in here, especially about when to take appropriate breaks and using random.org to pair side events.

Some notes about WER use:
-You don't need to click the local players tab to get the print option back, just the event tab. (If your local players database is large, this will waste a good bit of time)
-“Name seating” prints seating organized alphabetically by first name, which is a surprise you will want to be aware of.
-The margin bug also affects users in the united states. If you don't change the bottom margin to .5, it will cut off the last couple of names on every page.
-WERs list of infractions is slightly different from the IPG, and it has options for penalties that haven't existed in a long time, so be careful with that.
-There's a rather large bug with manually editing pairings, but if you don't use the search box in that screen, you won't run into it. If you do, you can wind up looking like you've unpaired the entire tournament.

We had a half-hour delay at a pre-release once because of this bug. XD
