I believe that there is an error in the blog post.

Q: Amy and Nicole both control Magistrate’s Scepter. During her main phase, Amy activates hers to take an extra turn. Nicole responds to this ability by doing the same thing. What happens?

A: Extra turns are taken in the order they are created . Nicole’s extra turn is created first, so she will take the next turn. After that, Amy will take her extra turn. After that, the game will go to whoever’s turn it was supposed to be before any of these extra turns were created, in this case, Nicole.

That's not what CR 500.7 says. It actually says

The most recently created turn will be taken first.

Since Amy's extra turn is created last, Amy will take her extra turn first.
