This is less of a rules question but more a confirmation that it works how I think it does. This situation came up at a PTQ last weekend (although cards changed for simplicity)

Player A controls Thassa, God of the Sea and 4 Flying Men.

Player B casts Turn//Burn, choosing to Turn Thassa into a 0/1 Weird and Burn a Flying Men.

Player B then attempts to block Thassa with Mutavault, however Thassa isn't a creature - On layer 4, it becomes not a creature due to it's Devotion ability; on layer 5, it becomes red; on layer 6 it loses all of it's abilities; and on layer 7 it WOULD become a 0/1, if it were a creature.

So Thassa isn't a creature. It's a red Enchantment with no abilities.
