Hey all,
I am getting some reports of bugs in logins to Judge Center as a result of updates that occurred.
If you become aware of one, please review this topic to see if its been reported and if not, add a description to this thread.

Thanks for the help!

The issue I personally had today:

Tried to log into the Judge Center, was greeted with the message “Invalid credentials. Please try again, or click the appropriate ”Forgot Password“ link if you need your password emailed to you. If the ”Forgot Password" functionality isn't working for you, please contact http://wizards.custhelp.com."

Following around some links, I was prompted to log into my Wizards account and come up with a new password. When it took me to the profile screen, it provided me with a DCI number that I've never seen before.

Neither this DCI number, nor my old one, work with the old nor new passwords, and I still can't log into the Judge Center (or, I should imagine, WER).

I've contacted Customer Support, but not received a response yet :)

Hi all,

For those that are having the issue above, I found a fix.

Navigate to this URL, put in your DCI number, and it should convert your old account to a Wizards account. It will prompt you for an e-mail address, username, and password (this last bit is the important one) and will update the password you will use for the Judge Center.

Once this is done you can combine accounts to clear up any other accounts you created in the process, as well as select the screen name and e-mail address the one merged account uses.

I tried that with my DCI number, and was presented with “Whoops! A system error is preventing us from doing that.”

In order to submit a ticket for North America support I have to have an account (that I can't log into). So I'll try to call them on the phone tomorrow.

I did try the “Forgot my login ID” link, and it gave me “whoops”. And tried the “forgot my password”, but I never received the email. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

I'm getting this message every single I try to use my dci to convert the
account:

" Whoops! A system error is preventing us from doing that. We're sorry for
the inconvenience. Try back in a while and we should have everything
working again! Or, contact our game support team
<https://company.wizards.com/contact-us> for additional help.“

If you are lucky enough to not have tried to create a new account and can still log into the Judge Center with your old credentials, keep doing so for as long as you are able. The new system is almost entirely a failure and will lock you into an infinite loop. As soon as you try to create new credentials, the system will fail and report that your password is incorrect or that your new password and confirmed password do not match. However, once you start, you are locked into coding purgatory as you will never be able to get through without creating new credentials which will always take you back to the page where you cannot ever create any new credentials.

As Smith (Monsuporn Lauhaphand) said, I am also able to do so as well:
1. navigated to accounts.wizards.com
2. created new login ID and new password (do note that the password needs at least one number and at leas one symbol. Click on the “?” next to password field to see the requirement)
3. relogin at accounts.wizards.com, everything seems fine.
4. navigate to judge.wzards.com
5. login using DCI number and the new password created at accounts.wizards.com.

I created an account in what purported to be a migration, but it invented a new DCI number for me, and I can still log into Judge Center, though my Planeswalker Points login no longer works. It says my DCI number is invalid, even when I pad it with a leading “4000” to get it up to eight digits. Whatever I did didn't break Judge Center for me, but it broke something.

I think it has to take the 10-digit version now. My 8-digit number doesn't work anymore, but the 10-digit version does.

Success - finally! - creating my new User ID, and finding a password it liked. Then judge.wizards.com didn't want to let me in - had to use the old DCI# (8-digit, not 6 or 10), and the NEW password, not the old one. Not intuitive, but it works…

I'm not sure if this is related to the update, but the Judge Center won't let me submit a DQ report. I filled out all of the information required, and pressed submit, but the system sent me to an error page.

Not certain what happened, but I can confirm that your report was received and shows in the Judge Center.
