RPTQ Atlanta @ Firestorm Games

Welcome to RPTQ Atlanta, hosted by Firestorm Games! 

We are looking for a team of judges to help run and judge this seasons RPTQ for PT Atlanta at Firestorm Games.

Judges should prepare to be flexible and take on a number of responsibilities over the weekend including floor judging, customer service, head judging smaller events, tidying rubbish, pushing in chairs, etc.

For Saturday, we are looking for:

1x Standby Judge

For Sunday, we are looking for:

2x Floor Judges

2x Standby Judges

Please indicate in your application if you would like to apply for standby on Saturday. If this isn't indicated, your application will be considered for Sunday only.

L1 judges are encouraged to apply for this event, but preference will be given to those who have previous C-REL experience and those who are working towards L2. L2 testing opportunities may be possible for judges who are on staff. If you are interested in this, please make this clear in your cover letter.

This event will be held at Firestorm Games in Cardiff, located within the South Wales Gaming Center:

Cardiff Central Railway Station (CDF) is a 5 minute walk away from the venue, close to where most local buses also terminate.

Compensation 

Judges will receive: 

·         £75/day in a Floor Judge role

In addition to this, all judges will be provided with a free lunch voucher that can be used on site at our café, service a range of hot meals & snacks. All judges will also have access to bottled water throughout their shift/s.

Standby judges will be able to play in an event of their choice across the weeking they are working for free. If you would like to apply for standby but are not interested in playing, please indicate this in your cover letter. In the event that this is the case and you are chosen for standby, you will be contacted to arrange appropriate compensation.

Additional Info

We offer food and drink on site, however Cardiff's metropolis is a short walk away should you wish to purchase something more substantial. Most local takeaways will also deliver to the store. Toilets are available onsite.
