Mini Conference/Belgian Judge Dinner - Guilds of Ravnica

We would like to invite you all to another instalment of the Belgian Judge Dinner.

This time we'll meet in Gent, the restaurant is Patrick Foley's - Irish Bar & Restaurant. Here is a link to the website;https://foleys.be/ Foley's has some lovely dishes with a price for a main course ranging between €12 and €20, also reasonably priced drinks. They provide for everyone who likes to eat, whether you prefer meat, vegetarian or vegan, if you have any allergies please let us know so we can communicate this to the restaurant. The address is Recollettenlei 10, 9000 Gent and we'll meet at 18:00 for some seminars and drinks, afterwards, we'll have a nice meal together.

The venue is accessible by public transport, you can take tram 1 to the stop called ‘Korenmarkt’ and walk 2 minutes or take tram 2 to ‘Oude Houtlei’ and walk 2 minutes. (Both trams are accessible at the train station Gent Sint Pieters) People joining us by car can park in the street of Foley’s itself, or park at a nearby underground parking facility at ‘Kouter’ or ‘Interparking’, the most expensive parking facility is at ‘Kouter’ and will approximately cost you € 8. The other facilities or the street of Foley’s itself will cost less to park.

When you arrive at the restaurant please ask for the Oscar Wilde room, this will be our venue for the evening. Please apply before the 19th of September so we can inform the restaurant of the number of judges they can expect. There will be a short seminar about the new set and after that, we have room for two 20-30 minute seminars or one longer seminar. If you would like to present please let us know of this and also tell us a little bit about the subject you would like to present.

Michiel Van den Bussche will guide us through the new mechanics and some potential pitfalls of the upcoming set.

19h15: Feedback

Floris De Baerdemaeker will give us more insights into giving and receiving feedback and how to make the best of it.

20h - dinner time

Games afterwards are possible, feel free to bring your decks or some board games if you like. As always, use the event forum to suggest discussion topics for the night and if you have any feedback for us, don't hesitate to tell us.
