CNE Games Weekend ft. FacetoFaceGames.com Open

Face to Face Games is proud to announce our partnership with the Canadian National Exhibition to bring card gaming to the CNE Gaming Garage

This is a weekend of magic and fun, including a Modern Open, Sunday Showdown, and Modern Trials on Friday plus on demand events and learn to play stations. We are excited to bring a mix of convention experiences and large tournament play to the CNE’s Gaming Garage.

Events for New and Veteran Players

We're looking for judges of all levels. Judges will be facilitating public events and engaging and teaching magic.  Judges working on the Open or Sunday Showdown events will be working at Competitive REL and applying the IPG, all while being friendly and customer service focused.

The scheduled events are as follows:

Learn to Play Sessions: Friday/Saturday/Sunday at 2:45pm and 5:45pm

Friday- Modern FacetoFaceGames.com Open Trial 6:00pm

Saturday- Modern FacetoFaceGames.com Open 11:00am

Sunday- Modern Sunday Showdown 11:00am

Compensation

All staff for this event will provided with lunch.

Judges staffed as full sponsorship will receive their choice of either $150 cash or $200 in store credit from FacetoFaceGames.com

Judges staffed as appeals judge will receive their choice of either $200 cash or $260 in store credit from FacetoFaceGames.com

Judges staffed as head judge will receive their choice of either $250 cash or $330 in store credit from FacetoFaceGames.com

All staff will be given entry to the CNE for the days they are working.

We are also looking for two standby judges. If you wish to apply to be a standby judge, please select the appropriate box in your application. Judges staffed as standby will be able to play in the main event for free if not needed to judge. If the standby judges are activated they will will be compensated at full sponsorship. Standby judges will also be given free entry to the CNE for the days they are on standby.
