Sentry Box Cards Modern Open

Sentry Box Cards is proud to announce our first foray into premium events in Alberta with a Modern 5k event.

We will be running a main event starting at 10am, with Side Events (TBA) launching throughout the day.

The Head Judge for this event will be Abeed Bendall.

Judges (including standbys) will be expected to be on site and ready to go by 8:45am.  Tables and chairs will be set up by the venue, but things like putting up table numbers and some minor technical set up will be required.

All judges will be expected to stay throughout the swiss rounds, at which point multiple staff will be released.  Proper judge attire is expected, please arrive with dark pants and black shirt available (as well as comfortable shoes!).

Any and all judges are encouraged to apply.  The event will be run at Competitive REL and applying the IPG will be required throughout the day.  Familiarity with the Modern format and various interactions in it will be an asset. 

Judges staffed as Floor Judges or Standby(if activated) will receive their choice of $150 cash or $180 in store credit.  Any unactivated Standby judge(s) will receive free entry into the main event.

We will be accepting two standby judges - the first standby judge will be activated at 120 players and the second will be activated at 150 players.
