FacetoFaceGames.com Toronto Open+ - Modern (5K)

Face to Face Games is proud to announce our next FacetoFaceGames.com Toronto Open+ to be held at the Montecassino Hotel and Event Centre in Toronto. This awesome event features $5,000 in main event prizes, Ultimate Guard sponsorship items for all participants as well as on-demand drafts, legacy clash, commander pods and constructed brawls. The cap for this event is 226 players.

The Head Judge for this event will be Michael Hill.

CALL TIME

Judges will be expected to be on site and ready to work at 9:30 AM to assist with setup. You are required to stay until the end of the Swiss rounds and assist with cleaning and breakdown.  Based on previous events, we expect the Swiss rounds to end around 7:00 PM, but be prepared to be there until later.

ALL JUDGES WELCOME

We're looking for judges of all levels. Judges staffed for this event will be working at Competitive REL and applying the IPG, all while being friendly and customer service focused. As this is Modern event, being familiar with the format and all the interactions involved is highly recommended.

If you're not as experienced with those things, please apply as a basic sponsorship, and we will be happy to help you grow within the judge program. Applying as a basic sponsorship will increase your chances of being accepted. 

COMPENSATION

All staff for this event will provided with lunch.

• Judges staffed as Basic Sponsorship will receive their choice of either $75 cash or $125 in store credit from FacetoFaceGames.com.
• Judges staffed as Full Sponsorship will receive their choice of either $150 cash or $200 in store credit from FacetoFaceGames.com
• Judges staffed as Appeals Judge will receive their choice of either $200 cash or $260 in store credit from FacetoFaceGames.com
• Judges staffed as Head Judge will receive their choice of either $250 cash or $330 in store credit from FacetoFaceGames.com

We are also looking for one Standby Judge. If you wish to apply to be a standby judge, please select the appropriate box in your application. Judges staffed as standby will be able to play in the main event for free if not needed to judge. If there are more than 180 players in the event, the standby judge will be activated and will be compensated at full sponsorship.
