Boardwalk Games - 2018 Q4 FNM

Description:

This event is to enter the judge rotation for the Boardwalk Games FNMs for the fourth quarter of 2018 (October to December). There is one judge on each Friday. Appeals are handled by the T.O. of the event, who will also be on site to answer any other questions. Judge comp is $30 store credit or 8 packs of an available non-premium set. This is a great opportunity to practice head judging a mid-sized venue (48-72 players) with multiple events. Read the walkthrough below, then if you’re interested read the application instructions.

FNM Walkthrough:

• Dress in "judge blacks" (Black judge shirt or a regular button down, black slacks, shoes, and belt.) 
• Arrive at 7pm to begin enrolling players in Wizards Event Reporter (WER) for each event.
• All events should fire as close to 7:30pm as possible.
• Make beginning of tournament announcements.
• 4 rounds of Swiss with pack per match win for any constructed events.
• Draft, deck construction, and 3 rounds of Swiss with pack per match win for any limited events.
• Print pairings and match slips and post/distribute accordingly.
• Enter match results and dropped players into WER.
• Manage the event timers.
• All available promos are distributed to the top tables and to random players for each event. The number allotted to each event are at the TO's discretion.
• Assist staff in determining correct payout to players at the end of the event (how many packs/wins).
• Report the events in WER at the end of the night.
