PTQ Magic 2015 - Cardiff

Hi everyone! This is the solicitation for Judges for this season's Pro Tour Qualifier at Firestorm Games!

I will be acting as Head Judge and I am looking for 5 floor judges to fill out my event staff, 1 of which being a standby judge. During the standard season, we broke a Welsh tournament record by hitting maximum capacity at 179 players! With this in mind, and the fact that this event is Sealed deck, I think we can expect anywhere in the region of 120-180 players! As such, whoever is selected as a standby judge will be activated once we hit 150 players.

Any available judges may apply, regardless of level, however experience in a Comp REL event in the past is preferrable (although by no means necessary). Judges need to have a good knowledge of the IPG and MTR, specifically rules that pertain to Sealed Deck and Booster Draft processes (I know my first Comp REL Sealed event came very late in my judge career!). Judges will be expected on site for roughly 9-10am and must be in appropriate judging attire, which means a black shirt, black trousers, black shoes and a belt. Black shoes do not necessarily have to be smart shoes, so long as they are comfortable for you to wear (as the event will last 10+ hours).

Compensation for the event will be a booster box for each judge!
