Ohio Local Conference 2018 - Cleveland

Event Information – Great Lakes Cleveland, Ohio Local Conference – November 18, 2018
We are excited to present the OH region of the Great Lakes judge community an opportunity to brush up on skills, learn some new tactics, and come together as a group. The focus of this conference is to help grow L1's in our community as they grow and extend themselves into the larger event pool. 

This conference is limited to 17 Attendees.

4 slots will be allotted to our Presenters and 1 to our Orgainzer.

All are welcome to apply, but preference will be given to those in OH and those within the Great Lakes Judge Region.

Applications:

Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received. Priority will be given to those more local, but don't let that discourage you from applying! In your application please include a topic that you would be interested in hearing either at this conference or one in the future.

If you are interested in presenting, please make note of this in your application AND email me with topic(s) you would like to present on. If you do not email me you will not be considered for presenter role.

Who is the intended audience?

This conference is intended for all judge levels. The primary focus of the presentations is to help develop L1's and encourage growth in pursuit of becoming a better L1 as well as exposure to different roles that make events run more smoothly.

Presentation Agenda:

Each Presentation will be will be alloted 50 minutes. Presenters are encouraged to have a Q&A session factored into their time. A 10 minute break will happen between each presentation. Time extensions may vary depending on Q&A sessions.

If enough people are interested we may run a draft after the event. If you would like to volunteer to bring product to either Phantom Draft or have a buy-in please communicate that to me in your application.

For lunch there are a few options around and more details will be in emails as we get closer to event.

*Foils only available to all certified judges participating in the event.  If you are certifying at the event, foils will be unavailable to you per Judge Program policy. Foils will be handed out at the end of event. Judges must sign the presentation sheet that will circulate prior to each presentation.

*Judge candidates and other uncertified individuals are welcome to attend this conference.  Unfortunately, per judge program policy, judge foils are not available to individuals who are not certified judges at the start of the conference, including those who certify for L1 at the conference.

*The Great Lakes region records judge conference presentations and posts video and audio recordings online so that judges who could not be presentphysically can still benefit from them.  If you are uncomfortable with photo, video, or audio recordings of you being taken or shared in this way, please contact the conference organizer, conferences project lead, or regional coordinator to discuss what possible accommodations are available.
