PPTQ PT London (Chicago)

Good Games Chicago is hosting a PPTQ for Pro Tour London (the second Pro Tour of 2019) on Saturday, October 6. This is the release weekend for Guilds of Ravnica, and with limited being the format for this event we are expecting a fantastic time as players get their first competitive experience with the new set. 

We are looking for a Standby Floor Judge for this event, who will be activated at ~33 players. The last limited PPTQ at this location in March hosted over 50 players, so likelihood of activation is high! Compensation if activated will be one box of a standard set (or equivalent store credit). If not activated, the standby judge will receive free entry into the event.

Applicants should be versed in competitive rules enforcement level Magic rules (CR, MTR, and IPG). Familiarity with the limited registration process is a plus but not a requirement.

The event will begin at 11AM; call time for the floor judge will be 10AM. 

In addition to acting as floor judge, duties may include launching side event drafts. Dress code for the event will consist of the Judge uniform (long-sleeve button down or regional Polo, black pants/skirt/kilt/etc, comfortable shoes). If the chosen applicant does not have a judge shirt, a black button-down or polo may be substituted if one cannot be borrowed.
