Judges Required

This is a solicitation for the RPTQ held by Geek Retreat in Glasgow. The following positions are required:

Friday:

LCQ Head Judge (minimum L2)

Saturday:

RPTQ head judge - Jernej Lipovec (L3)

2 floor judges
2 standby judges (activation at 60 players and 80 players) - Note: Expected attendance is around the 60 player level.

Sunday:

PPTQ Head Judge (minimum L2)

You must be a certified judge, and competitive REL experience will be required for confirmed floor judges. All judges will be expected to be familiar with the Modern format, including knowledge of most common decks and the current list of banned cards.

There will also be at least one Modern side event on the Saturday with prizes to warrant being run at Comp REL, one of the main event floor judges will be assigned as the head judge, so please indicate if you're interested in this role.

Compensation

The compensation for this event will be one booster box of Guilds of Ravnica for activated judges per day; standby judges who are not activated will gain free entry to the Modern side event.

If you're interested in travelling to judge the RPTQ and judging a second/third event would be a factor in your ability to do so, please make this known.

Timing and Availability

All judges should be present from 10:00am.

If you have any restrictions on when you can arrive, or how late you are able to stay, please state this in your application.

Judge Testing

L1 testing will be available with prior notice. Please contact Daniel De Swarte if this is something you would like to arrange.
