Weirdcards Charitable Club @ Magic Fest Cleveland

Weirdcards Charitable Club is looking for volunteers to help at our booth during Magic Fest Cleveland.  We are a nonprofit social club looking for local people to help support our mission of being social, generous, and inclusive, while playing Magic: the Gathering.  Check us out at www.weirdcards.org

Responsibilities

While volunteering, you may be responsible for the following.

-Set-up/tear down booth

-Sales transactions for Club items, via cash and/or card reader

-Answering basic questions about our club and our charity for the event.

-Answering basic questions about Oathbreaker

-Encourage new people becoming members

-Engagement of people who walk up to the booth

Each person who is accepted to volunteer will typically be accepted for one shift at the booth.  This is in an effort to promote more involvement by multiple people.  Booth shifts are described below.

Friday Early: 9AM-3PM

Friday Late: 3PM-9PM

Sat Early: 8AM-2PM

Sat Mid: 11PM-5PM

Sat Late: 3PM-9PM

Sun Early: 8AM-2PM

Sun Late: 2PM-8PM

Reimbursement

In order to be legally eligible for any reimbursement, you need to become a member.  Membership costs $5, but comes with the benefit of $5 off of your first purchase with us.  Membership dues can be taken care of onsite.

For each shift worked, you will be reimbursed for up to $50 in hotel expenses, and $20 in travel expenses(gas, food, etc).  Receipts for these expenses need to be submitted in order to receive reimbursement.
