Palisades PTQ Double-Header Weekend!

The Gamers Gambit in Saddle Brook, NJ and the Dragon's Den in Poughkeepsie NY will be hosting a double-header PTQ at the Palisades Mall on May 31 and June 1.

Expectations

Judges are expected to prepare for this event by reviewing the Comprehensive Rules, Magic Tournament Rules, Infraction Procedure Guide, and Judging at Regular REL documents. Judges should arrive no later than 9:00 AM, and will be expected to stay until dismissed after the swiss rounds.

The dress code for judges is a tucked-in Magic Judge shirt, black dress pants, a belt, and comfortable shoes (both preferably black).  If you do not have a Magic Judge shirt, please wear a button-down black dress shirt.  Judges should not be in uniform while off-duty, including during breaks and while trading, so bring a hoodie or jacket.

Compensation

All certified Magic Judges will be compensated 1 box of the current set or $100 cash per day worked.  Level 2 judges will be compensated an extra $20 ($120 total) per day worked.  Level 3+ judges should contact Steve Carpenter directly for compensation discussion.  Judges will also receive lunch and drinks, provided by the TO.

Accomodations

The Tournament Organizer will be providing an additional $50 stipend to cover hotel, food, or other expenses for judges and staff working both days of the event.  If you would like to be considered for this stipend, and are working both Saturday and Sunday, please indicate that in your application by selecting "Room Sponsorship".
