Northeast Leadership Conference

Important Information: This conference will be held on Memorial Day 2019. The conference is being planned to occur on the day after the close of MF Providence.

Battleground Games - Norton has provided us with space to gather the Northeast regional leadership.
Attendance of this conference is limited to those judges who are in leadership roles, including Area Captains and L3 judges.
The purpose of this conference is to enhance our internal communications and gain skills to better affect the growth, guidance and development of judges and the Program within the Northeast region.
This conference is planned for a half-day to allow judges to travel home after the MagicFest weekend.

Starting at 10:00am with introductions and gathering comments.
• "State of the Region" by Megan.
• Presentation 1: “The Road to L3” by Rob Castellon.
• Presentation 2: “Translating skills from one's daily life into Judging” by Paul Baranay.
• Presentation 3: "Training your Replacement" by Jonah Kellman.
• Breakout groups brainstorming of regional activities.

Social activities after the conference is encouraged.  Safe travel for out of area judges heading home is required.

Dress code is casual.  Presenters should be dressed appropriately.  The facility is air-conditioned.
There will be a short 30 minute refreshment break.  Due to the shortened time schedule of the conference, this break may not facilitate be a full lunch meal.  Quick "food" options are close by. (Dunkin'Donuts and McDonalds.)

This conference is foil supported, but such is limited by the Program to the first twenty (20) in-region leadership judges.  Thereafter, other judges, including judges in a leadership role from other regions are welcome to join.
Participation and feedback is required.
