Standard 1K - Battleground Games

Hello Judges!

Please consider this opportunity for a Floor Judge position in Battleground Games Standard 1K tournament.  This tournaments will be held on Sunday, April 14th, 2019 in the Norton, MA location.

Accepted judges will be responsible for the following:

• Knowledge of Standard legal card interactions.
• Knowledge of the IPG and MTR and having reviewed these documents prior to arrival. These tournaments will be judged at a Competitive Rules Inforcement level (CompREL).
• Personal electronic access to Oracle rulings, as well as CR, IPG and MTR documents.
• Reporting to the Norton store location at 11:00am on the day of the tournament.  See the information above.
• Reporting in appropriate Judge attire, including a Judge shirt or solid black shirt, and black pants, belt and shoes.
• Remaining on staff for the duration of the tournament, unless otherwise directed by the TO or HJ.
• Pushing in chairs and collecting/removing trash.
• Any reasonable task assigned by the TO or HJ.

As a staffed judge, you will be compensated with a booster box of any Standard legal set and be provided lunch.

This is a great opportunity for local judges to work in a CompREL event, practice application of the IPG and MTR and have an experienced L2 judge provide shadowing and feedback.
