DOQ Modern

We're looking for a L1 (or L2) judge for our DOQ events, held in the atmospheric play area in our board games shop in the center of Gouda for the 6th of April (Modern), the 4th of May (Sealed) and the 15th of June (Modern Horizons Sealed).

We offer the following compensation for the Modern event on the 6th of April:

• € 2,50 cash (or € 3 store credit) for each participant (including travel expenses)
• Coffee and soda included, bring your own lunch, we order you a pizza for dinner
• The event starts at 11:30, we expect you to be there from 11:00 until the end of the tournament, including a top 4 (more than 16 participants) or top 8 (more than 24 participants)

As it is the first time we organize a Modern DOQ, we don't know how many players to expect. Within 24 hours after notifying our local players only, we had 12 participants registered on our event calendar: https://www.magicers.nl/evenementen#openevent-1251. Based on this (minimal amount of) information we hope to receive +/- 24 player, but we have space for 40 players.

We divide the participation fee of € 15 as followed:

• € 9,00 for the prize support
• € 3,00 for hosting a DOQ
• € 2,50 direct compensation for judge staff and € 0,50 for other expenses (dinner for the judge, etc.)
