MCQ - Cambridge, MA

Thank you for your interest in this Mythic Championship Qualifier, run by Pandemonium Books and Games on May 18, 2019! This is a Standard event. There is a cap for this event - maximum 8 rounds of Swiss before the Top 8.

The Head Judge for this event is Elliot Raff, L2, Boston, MA. The tournament organizer is Jamie Perconti, L1, Cambridge, MA.

We expect to staff 2 Team Leads and 4 Floor Judges.

Compensation:

Team Lead: $160

Floor Judge: $120

Call time for all judges will be 9 AM. 
Please come dressed in either a judge shirt (official or Northeast polo) or a black button-down shirt, black pants/skirt/kilt/other, and comfortable shoes. You should also bring a notebook. Anything else you will need will be provided.
The venue has several parking options nearby. A post will be made in the forums detailing them when we get closer to the event.

A Message from the Head Judge

When the PPTQ system was born, this kind of event is what the judge program lost. We lost opportunities to work closely in teams, to observe each other and provide valuable feedback. We now have that chance again. To that end, we are looking not only for experienced judges, but for those who will benefit from this event. We are looking for judges with a range of strengths and experience. This will be stated in the application, but please give some thought as to what this event can provide for you, as well as what you can provide to the event. I have no doubt that each and every person that applies can bring something wonderful to make this event amazing. What I really want to know is what I can do to make this event amazing for you.
