Mythic Qualifier Weekend - Patriot Games

On behalf of Patriot Games, I'd like to open applications for the upcoming Mythic Championship double-header weekend!

We have two Mythic Qualifier events back-to-back and are looking for a judge team to help run these.

Both of these events will be Standard format and  are likely to sell out in advance. They will be capped at ~230 players and be 8 rounds of Swiss with top cut.

We will have more information on the weekend including format and side events nearer the time.

Roles

We're looking for:

1 Head Judge for the Mythic Qualifiers (experienced level 2+)

Floor judges (Level 1+)

Standby judges (level 1+)

Both events will be run at competitive REL, please include relevant experience and any preferences on what you'd like to do on your application.

Applications for these roles will close on Monday April 22nd. The head judge(s) will be selected earlier and assist with selecting floor judges, please get your application in early if you're interested in this. We don't have full numbers for judge staff at this point but will have that information soon.

Compensation

Each activated judge will recieve £8.21 per hour while working as compensation, including break(s), as well as up to £25 in expenses.

Each Head Judge will recieve an extra £25.

Each standby judge will get free entry into the Mythic Qualifier they're on standby for.

Expectations

We expect each activated judge to assist with running the event in a professional manner, including being able to deliver rulings at competitive rules enforcement level, assist with distributing pairings, match slips or checking decks. We also expect each judge to be presentable, with a black shirt (judge shirt if possible) and black skirt/trousers.

Please include relevant experience in your application, as well as any preferences for or against particular roles or duties. Please also include the name of your favourite planeswalker. Feel free to apply if you feel up to the task, even if you don't have a lot of experience as we will be using the opportunity to mentor judges.

Shifts will start around 9-10am both days, depending on the needs of the events. Please specify on your application if you can't start before or end after a certain time as this is something we can work with.
