SC Judge MiniCon

Welcome to the second annual SC Minicon.

This will be a non-traditional conference where we use the “Worst Tournament Ever” or “Garbage Fire” scenarios. This is a hands-on experience where instead of watching a seminar and learning from a teacher/student dynamic, instead you get to be a Judge helping run a Comp REL event and face the challenges that come with it along with a “stress test live match” between Judges! Players and Judges alike will be pushing the limits on what a tournament can handle, can you keep the event running smoothly? This is a great opportunity providing L1s guided preparation for MCQs, Opens, Regionals, or the next big Comp REL event!

L1s looking for experience in Comp REL will have priority for acceptance. Please include a brief summary of your Comp REL judging experience in the cover letter.

Also, in your cover letter include whether you would like to be a “player” or a “floor judge” for the scenarios.

L2+ judges are needed to serve as Team Leads to guide the scenarios and mentor.

Foil Support

Wizards of the Coast and the Judge Program are rewarding certified judges at this conference with a selection of judge foils. Only those registered and certified by May 10th will be eligible for foil support. There are no exceptions to this policy.
