Grand Prix Moscow 2014

Magic Grand Prix Moscow 2014 will be held on June 14-15th with last chance trials being run on Friday, June 13th. The format of this GP is Standard Constructed.

You can apply for Room Sponsorship or Volunteer. Please indicate all types of sponsorship you're willing to accept. You may apply either for Saturday and Sunday or for all 3 days. You must be available to work until 20:00 on Sunday but some judges might be asked to stay longer. If you also apply for Friday, you must be available from 11:00 - please, plan your travel accordingly.

If you're selected for Room Sponsorship, your hotel will be paid for from Friday night to Monday morning, If you wish to stay longer, you have to make arrangements on your own. You will share the room with another judge.

You must speak English fluently enoiugh to operate at a tournament sufficiently. If you also speak Russian, you have higher chances of being accepted.

We expect you to act in a proper judging attire that includes black judge shirts, black trousers with a belt and black shoes. If you don't have a judge shirt, please contact the judge manager upon being selected so that we can arrange it for you at the GP.

Judge compensation

Floor judge L1 - 1 booster display of current set per full day worked

Floor judge L2 - 1,5 booster displays of current set per full day worked

Floor judge L3 - 2 booster displays of current set per full day worked

In addition you will get a package of judge foils (quantity being dependant on your judge level). 

Judges performing special roles within the event may receive extra product.

Judge conference

There will be judge conference on Friday. You can apply at http://apps.magicjudges.org/events/1200/ Applications placed after 30th of April will not provide judge foils,

Visas

You might need visa to enter Russian Federation. Processing paperwork to get said visa is your responsibility. Organizer and/or judge manager will help with an invitation if possible. Please study the visa process for your country in advance and inform judge manager immediately upon being selected if you need help.

Judge contracts

You might be required to sign a judge contract with the organizer. Unfortunately, there're no details on that available in the moment. We will provide updates as soon as possible.
