PTQ Magic 2015 - Philippines

Ongkeco's Hobby Shop is looking for several judges for PTQ Magic 2015 on May 10, 2014.

We are looking for 5-6 judges for this event. Please indicate on your application if you are applying as a volunteer (you are applying specifically to judge) or would like to be on standby. (you are planning on playing, but would be available to judge if we need more staff

Those who applied to be volunteers would be given higher priority than standby, but as per Mike those chosen to be on standby would be receiving some sort of discount when they join the event 

The format is Theros Block Sealed with each participant receiving 2 boosters of Theros, Born of the Gods and Journey into Nyx to create their sealed decks. Judges are expected to help with product distribution and garbage clean up. 

This is a Competitive event, judges would be expected to know the Comprehensive Rules and would need to implement the MIPG. Judges would also be performing deck checks for the event among other judge functionalities.

Judges are expected to be on-site by 9:00 AM, and be around until the end staying through the Top 8. Registration will start at 10 a.m. with Round 1 scheduled at 12nn. Please note in your application if it is contingent on leaving earlier, or if you have any other notes like specific roles please put those in as well.

Judge attire will be judge black shirt, black pants, and comfortable (preferably black) shoes. If you do not have a judge shirt, try wearing something black.

Compensation is in JOU boosters: Total number of participants divided by 3 then divided by total number of judges. Mike has always been generous to judges in the past so I wouldn't be surprise if there's something extra in the end.

Lunch and Dinner would be provided for the event.
