NRG Series 2019 Season Two Head Judges

Nerd Rage Gaming is excited to present the head judge solicitation for all CT events as part of Season Two of the 2019 NRG Series. For more information on Season Two of the 2019 NRG Series, please visit this link.

We are looking for Head Judges for the following events:

• Sat, July 20, 2019 - Modern - Mundelein, IL - Mark Mason
• Sat, August 17, 2019 - Standard - Cedar Rapids, IA - Matthew Westfox
• Sat, September 14, 2019 - Legacy - Milwaukee, WI - Morgan Wentworth
• Sat, October 19, 2019 - Modern - Chicagoland, IL (SCG Regionals - not part of the NRG Series) - Travis Lauro
• Sun, October 20, 2019 - Modern - Chicagoland, IL - Jason Lauborough
• Sat, November 2, 2019 - Standard - Madison, WI  - Brook Gardner-Durbin
• Sat, November 30, 2019 - Team Constructed - Chicagoland, IL - TBA

Judges who are interested in being in a Head Judge role for any of these events should fill out the google form here. Filling out a cover letter through Judge Apps is not required.

Staff members will be compensated based on their role and level of expertise. They will receive their compensation in the form of check upon the conclusion of the event and must complete appropriate tax paperwork (W-9 for US citizens). Judges may opt to receive store credit or product instead of cash compensation. Store credit can be spent at the vendor booth, in-store, or at nerdragegaming.com. Judges may elect to take product of the most recent Standard set at $80/box. So, for example, an L2 head judge can choose between $250 paid via check (pending tax form completion), $250 in store credit, or 112 packs of the recent Standard set per day.

Nerd Rage Gaming offers a partial room sponsorship for CT head judges should they require it. Judges who receive this partial room sponsorship will have a spot in a staff hotel room for Friday night (shared with up to three other staff members). In your application, you will have the opportunity to indicate your hotel room preferences for each event.
