Greetings Judges
On behalf of Dragon Con 2019 and Sunmesa Events we are looking for judges for this year’s show.
Dragon Con 2019 runs Labor Day weekend (Thursday Aug 29th to Monday Sept 2nd) in downtown Atlanta. Magic: The Gathering rocks D Con with unique events, fun prizes and hordes of drafts.
Compensation for judges for the show includes one box of boosters per full day volunteered, food stipend, and a full con badge if you work 3 days or more. Judge may also volunteer for just a single day to accommodate work or show needs. You must volunteer for at least 24 hours to qualify for a free badge.
While applications will close on July 15th if you have volunteered for the show before you will get an email outlining your status within 48 hours of your application. There is a detailed show FAQ in the forum for this event.
If selected you will be required to complete a one time online training course which takes about one hour to complete for most applicants. Prior staff who have attended the event in the past and completed the course do not need to repeat it.
We do offer other games beyond MTG if you wish to help with those please contact us via email.
