Star City Spring States - Illinois

This is the call for judges for the Star City Games Spring States for Illinois, which will be run by Gryfalia's Aerie, in Bloomington/Normal IL.

We are looking for a great staff of judges for this event. Those with competitive event judging experience prefered, but are will to consider any positive minded individual who wants to break into competitive judging.

There are a total of three 'main events' that weekend.  The States will start at 11AM (yes, later than most, but we're making it easier for people on the ends of the state to get to us), at 5PM we'll be running a GPT for the Chicago GP, and Sunday at 10AM we'll be running a Legacy for a Mox event (obviously a smaller event).  If you are a Level 1 judge looking for a GPT to get under your belt, we'll be happy for you to run the GPT (instead of myself) as head judge.  As of right now we don't need judges for Sunday unless that's the only day you can make it, in which case we'll take it case by case.

The event will be taking place at the Marriott in downtown Normal for space reasons.  It is helpfully close to the Amtrak station (think 2 blocks) if that helps you arrive easier.  Or goal is to find 2-3 additional floor judges and 1 person to run software and the like.  Cris Plyler is our Level 2 judge who will be head judge for the States Event.  We already have one flood judge applicant lined up.

We ask judges to arrive by 10AM at the latest, earlier if possible.  If you don't have the official judge shirts, please wear black.

Certified judges will receive 1 Box of the current set, uncertified judges will recieve 1/2 box.
