Event Information
It's been a long time but 401 Games is excited to be hosting one of the next round of Mythic Championship Qualifiers for MC IV Richmond! We are looking for full staff for this event, and are eager to work with our judge community to run a fantastic event. The Head Judge for this event will be Duncan McGregor
STAFF
We are looking to fill the following seven positions:
- Appeals Judge
- Four Floor Judges
- Standby Floor Judge
- Scorekeepeer
Applicants for the Appeals Judge position should be comfortable taking appeals and giving rulings on the level of Head Judge. Our preference would be to staff this position early in the process, as we would welcome input on other staff from this person. For the other positions all level of judges are welcome to apply. Judges staffed for this event will be working at Competitive REL and applying the IPG, all while being friendly and customer service focused.
If you're not as experienced with those things, please apply as a basic sponsorship, and we will be happy to help you gain experience within the judge program. Applying as a basic sponsorship will increase your chances of being accepted.
COMPENSATION
- The Appeals Judge will have the choice of $200 cash $250 in store credit from 401 Games
- Floor Judges and our Scorekeeper will receive their choice of either $150 cash or $200 in store credit from 401 Games
We are also looking for standby judges. If you wish to apply as a Standby Judge, please select the appropriate box in your application. Judges staffed as standby will be able to play in the main event for free if not needed to judge.
EVENT
The event will take place on Saturday, August 3rd at 10:00AM. We will expect judge staff at 8:45AM and there will probably be some amount of set-up and preperation work needed. Judges will be expected to stay at least until the end of Swiss. As more details of the event are finalized this this event will be updated with any new information.
