Event Information
Thank you for your interest in working with us at Guild Gaming! We are looking to expand our competitive tournament offerings and looking for some knowledgeable and hardworking judges to make sure our events are a success.
Guild Gaming is located in Woodbridge Virginia, right off of 95. We have space for 60+ players and typically get 40-50 players for our IQs.
This event will be Modern and will run using the recommended Swiss rounds from the MTR. The Swiss rounds will be followed by a cut to the Top 8.
Store staff will handle score keeping and WER duties
Judges should arrive 30 minutes before the event starts. The head judge must stay until the end of the tournament, floor judges may leave after the conclusion of the Quarter Finals of the Top 8.
Uniform: If possible please wear a GP Shirt or a Mid-Atlantic Polo or plain black button-down shirt with black pants, black belt. No shorts please but skirts are OK.
We are looking for a Headjudge and Standby judge for this event. The SB Judge would be activated at 40 players, if not activated they can play in the event for free.
Compensation: $120 cash or $150 in store credit with lunch included
