Details
This event will be held on June 27-28th with last chance trials being held on June 27th.
The format is Sealed/Draft.
There are three types of sponsorship that you can apply for, volunteer, room sponsorship and standby. When applying, please indicate ALL types of sponsorship you are willing to accept.
You may apply for Saturday and Sunday, we are not accepting judges for less than two full days. We will also accept applications to judge on Friday, please specify that in the questions below. If you apply for Friday, you need to be available from 10.00AM– so please make sure you are able to be on site at that time. If you apply for Sunday, you need to be available until 8pm – if you need to leave earlier, please don’t apply for Sunday.
If selected for room sponsorship, your hotel room will be paid from Friday night to Monday morning. If you wish to stay longer, you have to make the arrangements yourself. You will share the room with another judge (unfortunately we can't accommodate staying with a spouse/friend, etc.). Additional room costs, food, taxis, etc. will not be paid for, but you will receive a food allowance each day you work.
Spare Judges:
5 Judges will be selected to be let play at the event for free, they will be asked to give their  mobile phone number, and enrolled as judges in the staff if we have more than 1.400 players with normal compensation based on judge level.

Cover Letter
In your cover letter please include these details: recent judge experience, judges/TOs that you work with regularly, country you live in (for insurance purposes), languages you speak to a reasonable degree, plus anything else you consider relevant AND if you would be available as spare judge if not selected.
 
Judge Conference
There could be a judge conference on Friday, but it is not confirmed and the application window for the Conference will be opened in a separate page/day.
 Notes
You have a better chance of being accepted if you are an active judge in your community and you speak italian. Judges not fluent in italian must speak English sufficient to operate in a tournament setting.
Please bring appropriate judging attire, including a black judge shirt and black trousers with belt. If you do not have a shirt, please indicate this in your cover letter so one can be provided for you.
As recognition judges accepted to this event will receive one packet of foils for each level they have.
Compensation depends on your level and the amount of days you work. In addition to the number of boxes outlined below. Compensation will be settled when the GP top 8 has started, and is given in English product of the current set.
 
Floor Judge L1 : 1 display per full day worked
Floor Judge L2 : 1.5 display per full day worked
Floor Judge L3+ : 2 display per full day worked
Judges performing special roles within the event may receive extra product.
