Event Information
Welcome to the application/event page for Little Shop of Magic's MCQ on Sunday, Sept. 15. The event is being held at the shop's location and starts at 10 a.m. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
Call time: 9 a.m.
Uniform and expectations: Judge blacks, regional polo or collared plain black shirt with black pants, and comfortable, preferably black shoes. Judges at the event are expected to prepare by reviewing the Comprehensive Rules, Magic Tournament Rules, and Infraction Procedure Guide. These documents can be found at the Wizards Rules and Documents page.
Size: 150 player cap.
Pay: Floor judge pay is $110 for the event; Head judge is $200 for the event. The store will ask you to fill out a employee paperwork (a W-4 in particular). Please bring appropriate paperwork.
Staff: There will be a head jusge plus two floor judges on staff. A standby judge will activate at 110. Further standby judges may be added as needed. Standby judges who are not activated will be granted free entry into the event.
