MCQ Richmond -Dream Wizards

Dream Wizards is hosting an MCQ on September 7th, 2019. The event is modern constructed, capped at 133 players (we expect to cap) with $2000 in the prize pool for top 8. Your Head Judge will be Jaime D'Agostino.

We are looking for 4 floor judges to join us in making this a successful event.

Expectations

Judges are expected to be familiar with the Comprehensive Rules, Magic Tournament Rules, and the Infraction Procedure Guide all available at http://wpn.wizards.com/en/reso<wbr />urces/rules-documents. 

Call time will be 9 am when registration begins to help setup and register players. At 133 players the event will be 8 rounds with a cut to top 8 (~6 pm+). Judges should expect to stay until the Top 8 cut. Volunteers will be needed for Top 8 as well. 

A lunch break with a $10 stipend will be provided with additional half round breaks. Beverages will also be provided. 

Please wear comfortable shoes and the standard Judge uniform (black pants and Judge Shirt. If you do not have a Judge shirt please wear a button up black dress shirt or a regional Judge Polo).


Compensation

Your choice of $150 cash, $180 store credit, or 2 current standard legal booster boxes


Applications are due by August 26th. Staffing decisions will be made by the Head Judge on August 28th.
