FacetoFaceGames.com Edmonton Open

Face to Face Games is proud to announce our next FacetoFaceGames.com Edmonton Open to be held at the Edmonton Inn & Conference Centre in Edmonton, AB. This awesome event features $3,800 in main event prizes, as well as on-demand drafts, constructed brawls and commander pods. The cap for this event is 226 players.

The Head Judge for this event will be Brook Gardner-Durbin.

CALL TIME

Judges will be expected to be on site and ready to work by 8:30 AM. You will not be required to assist setting up the hall but expect some light tasks in the morning like setting the table numbers, placing pairing boards, etc. You are also required to stay until at least the end of the Swiss rounds and assistance with cleaning and breakdown is expected. Based on previous events, you can expect the Swiss rounds to end around 8:00 PM but please note that the actual finish time might be different.

ALL JUDGES WELCOME

We're looking for judges of all levels. Judges staffed for this event will be working at Competitive REL and applying the IPG, all while being friendly and customer service focused. As this is Modern event, being familiar with the format and all the interactions involved is highly recommended.

COMPENSATION

• Floor Judges and Scorkeepers will receive a compensation of $16 per hour. Hours worked beyond 8 hours will be increased by 50%
• Appeals Judges will receive a compensation of $18 per hour. Hours worked beyond 8 hours will be increased by 50%

-        We are also looking for standby judges. If you wish to apply as a Standby Judge, please select the appropriate box in your application. Judges staffed as standby will be able to play in the main event for free if not needed to judge. Activation number are 110 and 140.
