Event Information
"With the creation of Judge Academy and our region coming under the legacy Judge Program for the foreseeable future, we need to look into ways to keep our region active and ready to join Judge Academy when the time comes. What challenges do our communities face during this time and how do you propose we tackle those challenges? Is there anything specific you'd like to see the Legacy Program Coordinator / Legacy Judge Program do or take on during this transition period?"
Information about the Legacy Judge Program and the Legacy Program Coordinator role can be found here: https://blogs.magicjudges.org/coordinators/2019/08/09/announcing-application-for-legacy-program-coordinator/
I am looking for a small group of judges from each of the countries in SEA to join in a leadership meeting to brainstorm ideas and come up with action plans to take care of our region / countries during this time of uncertainty. In order to help select this group of judges, you will need to apply for this conference and answer the above question in your cover letter, and you must be willing to help execute the action plans if you are selected to attend. Attendees will be eligible for conference foil support.
Please note that not everyone who applies will be accepted. In order to keep the conference productive, the number of participants is going to be limited to no more than 20 people. The window of application is also relatively short so if you are interested, please keep the application deadline in mind. I anticipate to publish acceptances by 9th September if possible, 16th September at the latest.
