Phoenix Judge Conference

Welcome to the Phoenix Judge Conference!

On behalf of the US-Southwest region, I would like to invite you to be a part of the Phoenix Judge Conference, which will follow Magicfest Phoenix on on Monday, Oct. 28, at at the Phoenix Gaming Lounge, which is a short drive from the Phoenix Convention Center.

The address for the event is 4747 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012. We expect to start at 10 a.m. and finish between 3 and 4 p.m. Times are subject to change at this time. A schedule will be determined closer to the events.

How to Register

To be a part of this event, please click the "Apply Now" button, answer a few short questions and provide a cover letter.

We take writing cover letters seriously as it has a large effect on each judge's ability to work events. When applying for this conference, please treat it as though you are writing a cover letter for a major event for which you want to be on staff. 

Presenters

Attendees interested in presenting should please indicate this in both your application and your cover letter, as well as include what topic you would like to cover and any equipment needs you might have. (Projector, laptop, etc.) Past experience is by no means required, and first time presenters are welcome to apply. We will contact you before apps close to verify with you that you are presenting.

Presenters will be expected to provide information and updates on their presentations in advance of the event.

Applications for presenters will be given higher priority if submitted on or before Sept. 20.

Level 1 and Level 2 Testing

We expect testing will be available at the conference, but because of the Oct. 1 switch from the Judge Program to Judge Academy, we are unclear at this time what will be needed or available. Please contact the organizers beforehand if you are interested and we will work with you.
