2 Main Events:
- Legacy (Saturday)
- Vintage (Sunday)
Roles
We are looking for some judges at special positions. If you are interested in one of these positions and you never worked at this position for Bazaar of Moxen or Magic Bazar before, please give us a short summary of your skills and experience at this position in your cover letter.
- Main event Head Judge: You will be in charge of one of the Main Events each day. L3+ are preferred for this position.
- Scorekeeper: You will be in charge of scorekeeping simultaneous tournaments, up to 600 players, with WER or WLTR and help to track BoM points
- Registration master: You will be taking registration, fire On Demand Events and judge or help to scorekeep Side Events (depending on attendance) when the registrations are close.
Additionally to thes specific roles, there will be Team Leader and Head Judging of competitive events positions opened to L2+ judges.
Compensation
Compensation for the Eternal Week-End is based on roles:
- Floor Judge: 1 box/day + or 90€ in credit store/day
- Head Judge (of the main event): 2 box/day + or 180€ in credit store/day
- Scorekeeper: 1.5 box/day + or 120€ in credit store/day
- Registration master: 1 box/day + or 90€ in credit store/day
Box = box of the latest set valid in Standard.
Note that Accommodation will NOT be covered by Magic Bazar. We encourage judges to communicate on the forum to find roomates.
Magic Bazar will make sure to arrange lunch food, depending on venue regulations (cash, ordering food, preparing food, etc.).
Additionally, Magic Bazar will be happy to invite all judges to a Judge Dinner held on Saturday evening.
Stand-by judges
- A Stand-by judge is someone who primarily plans to play the Eternal Week-End, but who will make himself or herself available for judging if attendance exceeds our initial expectations.
- Stand-by judges who are not activated can play one tournament for free during each of the days (Saturday and Sunday) they are not activated.
- Applying as a Stand-by judge does not reduce your chances to be accepted as a Regular Judge.
Expectations
Please read carefully this section:
- All judges applying at Eternal Week-End are expected to be able to work and deliver rulings in English.
- Judges might be ask to setup or dismount the room during a part of their shift.
