Next-Gen MCQ - Modern - LA Convention Center

Next-Gen games MCQ being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center is looking for a team of floor judges and standby judges for their Mythic Championship Qualifier on 9/8/2019

Expectations

All judges are expected to arrive no later than 1 hour before the event begins. Judges are expected to stay through the completion of the Swiss rounds.  If you need to arrive late or leave early, please note that in your application.

Expected attire for the event is black pants and a judge shirt, regional polo shirt, or other nice black shirt. 

Judges at the event are expected to prepare by reviewing the Comprehensive Rules, Magic Tournament Rules, and Infraction Procedure Guide. These documents can be found at the Wizards Rules and Documents page.

As representatives of Next-Gen Games and the Magic Judge Program, judges are expected to behave in a professional manner at all times.

Compensation

The floor judges will be compensated $120 cash or $180 in store credit. Parking fees up to $20 will be reimbursed upon arrival and lunch will be provided.

All staff will be compensated lunch at the convention center vendor.

Standby judges that are not activated will be compensated free entry into the event or $30 cash.
