Grand Prix Denver

Judge Sponsorship:

For this event we are accepting either volunteers or those needing room sponsorship. Please specify which you are interested in when applying. Hotel rooms for those receiving sponsorship will be provided for on Friday and Saturday night. There will be some additional rooms available for some to stay late on Sunday night.

Compensation:

All staff that work at least two days of the event will receive compensation of one box of product per day. L3+ judges will receive additional compensation of ½ box of product per day. There is no compensation taken out for judges receiving hotel sponsorship.

Testing:

There will be Level 1 testing opportunities available.

There will be testing opportunities for Level 2 by appointment only. If you are interested in testing for L2 please contact your Regional Coordinator prior to contacting the Judge Manager or Testing Coordinator of this event.

A Note on Level 1 Judges:

"L1s who wish to attend a GP should be expecting to be assigned to public events, not the main event. The exception would be those who are close to L2 and prepared to be tested that day (because they should have studied the IPG before taking the main event floor). If you are a veteran L1, who has judged at PTQ and GP, and wish to continue doing so, you should be seeking L2. Level Ones are not encouraged to judge at Grand Prix; instead, they should judge at other stores, attend conferences, or seek a PTQ for testing under an L3. For Grand Prix within their region some few L1s may be selected if they are close to testing for L2."

"If you are a veteran L1, who has judged at several Qualifiers with other judges, or at Grand Prix, and wish to continue doing so, you should seek testing for L2."

Judge Foils:
All certified judges that work at least two days of the event will receive judge foils.

In your application please answer all the questions and include any additional comments, needs or concerns.

The application window will close by November 2, 2012. All staffing decisions will be made and reported by November 9, 2012.
