Iberian Judge Conferences 2014

Hello everybody!

We are running the 3rd Iberian judge conferences on July the 18th and 19th.

All certified Magic Judges are very welcome to attend.

The location choosen this time is Residencia Deportiva Petxina: http://www.residenciadeportiva.com/

We will arrange rooms for Friday and Saturday, with breakfast, lunch and dinner covered to all the attending judges.

As you can imagine, the Iberian judge conferences organization requires a strong economic effort, that we will try to cover with the Judge Foils that Wizards gave us to help with this kind of events. Unfortunately, this year there will be no travel sponsorship available.

This Judge Foils Packs content will be unknown until a few days before the conferences, but from previous experiences we think that it will be something like: Show and Tell, Overwhelming forces, Vindicate, Genesis, Entomb and Karador. With this initial estimation we think that we could get around 90€ for each pack at the conferences dates.

Anyway, we understand that different people will have a different opinion about the pack value. So that, we have decided to offer to each attending judge one of the following options at the event:

- Get a pack of judge foils and pay 90€ for the accomoidation and food.

- Don't get the judge foils and get both the accomodation and food for free.

We will post a detailed schedule closer to the vent, but we are expecting judges to arrive during Friday afternoon-evening and ending the event after Sunday closing lunch.

Estamos organizando las 3ªs Conferencias Ibéricas de Jueces durante el fin de semana del 18 y 19 de Julio.

Todos los jueces certificados están invitados a venir.

El lugar elegido para este año es la Residencia Deportiva Petxina: http://www.residenciadeportiva.com/

Reservaremos camas para viernes y sábado, con desayuno, comida y cena incluidos para todos los jueces asistentes.

Como podréis imaginar, la organización de las Conferencias Ibéricas de Jueces supone un importante esfuerzo económico, que trataremos de cubrir con las Foils de jueces que Wizards nos otorga para ayudar con este tipo de eventos. Lamentablemente, este año no podremos dar ayudas para el viaje.

El contenido de este Pack de Foils no lo conoceremos hasta días previos al evento, pero por experiencias previas creemos que será algo como: Show and Tell, Overwhelming forces, Vindicate, Genesis, Entomb y Karador. Bajo este supuesto, estimamos que en esas fechas podremos sacar alrededor de 90€ por cada pack.

En cualquier caso, sabemos que cada uno puede tener diferente opinión sobre el valor del pack. Por ello, hemos decidido ofrecer a cada juez asistente la posibilidad de elegir entre dos opciones durante el evento:

- Recibir el pack de foils y pagar 90€ por los gastos de comida y alojamiento.

- No recibir foils y obtener el alojamiento y la comida gratuitos durante la estancia.

Subiremos un horario detallado en las fechas cercanas al evento, pero de momento esperamos la llegada de los jueces a lo largo de la tarde-noche del viernes y el final del evento después de la comida de cierre del domingo.
